Welcome to the Hampshire Ghost Club - registration is FREE so come on in and take a seat and meet our community.

A Brief History.

We were formed in 2001 by experienced paranormal investigator, author and TV presenter David Scanlan and rapidly become one of the UK's leading investigation groups, A title we are proud to still have after 8 years of group investigations.

We have visited and investigated numerous sites over the years including Portchester Castle, Levens Hall, Dudley Castle, Wymering Manor, Beaulieu Abbey, Netley Abbey, Michelham Priory, Ancient Ram Inn, Chingle Hall, and many more, there are some sites that we cannot name due to their ownership being in the hands of the Royal Navy and a member of the British Aristocracy.

The Hampshire Ghost Club has also been featured highlighting our work numerous times in the media including Most Haunted, BBC Radio, Net Talk Radio, Power FM, ITV, Meridian, Portsmouth TV, Paranormal Magazine, Beyond Magazine, plus many others.

We are a friendly and dedicated group of individuals and we are always on the look out for new members to compliment our existing team

So....if your interested in finding out what really happens on a Ghost Hunt why not drop us a line in our forums or via our contact forms enquiring about our membership availability

General : Bramshill House Investigation

Posted by Founder on 10-Jun-2003 16:26 (3217 reads)

Hi Everyone,

The HGC recently applied to investigate Bramshill House, The Police training college in Basingstoke, but due to security restrictions this investigation has been denied.

My contact at the college did disclose however that there has been no reported paranormal incidents for at least 15 years. Perhaps Bramshill House isn't the most haunted house in Hamsphire! I think I have a contender for the title though. If you know of a haunted location that has well documented ghost's please e-mail me with the details as we are trying to find the most haunted house in Hampshire----The prime contender at the moment could even rival the famous Chingle Hall.

I would be interested to hear from you.

The Hampshire Ghost Club is soon to hold a meeting where the core team will decide in which way the HGC will progress.

At the moment we are investigating different sites on a monthly basis but most of the members feel that we are not getting to the bottom of a haunted location so the HGC may decide to select 12 different sites and investigate these on a regular basis and hopefully conclude as to whats happening in each location.

More information on this to follow when the meeting is held and we decide which way to go.

Hi,

Firstly I would like to apologise about the lack of recent updates, this has been due to an increase in my workload ut I should be on track soon.

You will see updated in the investigations section that I have uploaded some more investigation reports from the Hamsphire Ghost Clubs archives.

I hope you will enjoy reading them and we welcome all comments, questions and suggestions on the reports.

The HGC are conducting an investigation this Saturday in Southampton and I will hopefully have this report uploaded very soon.
