Welcome
Welcome to the Hampshire Ghost Club - registration is FREE so come on in and take a seat and meet our community.
A Brief History.
We were formed in 2001 by experienced paranormal investigator, author and TV presenter David Scanlan and rapidly become one of the UK's leading investigation groups, A title we are proud to still have after 8 years of group investigations.
We have visited and investigated numerous sites over the years including Portchester Castle, Levens Hall, Dudley Castle, Wymering Manor, Beaulieu Abbey, Netley Abbey, Michelham Priory, Ancient Ram Inn, Chingle Hall, and many more, there are some sites that we cannot name due to their ownership being in the hands of the Royal Navy and a member of the British Aristocracy.
The Hampshire Ghost Club has also been featured highlighting our work numerous times in the media including Most Haunted, BBC Radio, Net Talk Radio, Power FM, ITV, Meridian, Portsmouth TV, Paranormal Magazine, Beyond Magazine, plus many others.
We are a friendly and dedicated group of individuals and we are always on the look out for new members to compliment our existing team
So....if your interested in finding out what really happens on a Ghost
Hunt why not drop us a line in our forums or via our contact forms enquiring about our membership availability

On the 31st October and 2nd November this year, join the Hampshire Ghost Club as they embark on a paranormal investigation at the historic 13th century Beaulieu Abbey, the site of many spooky spectre sightings.
Beaulieu Abbey was founded in 1204, when King John gave a gift of land to the Cistercian monks to found a monastery. The largest Cistercian Abbey in England, Beaulieu, thrived for over 300 years until it was destroyed in the 1530s at the time of the dissolution of the Monasteries.
The strange stories and legends surrounding Beaulieu Abbey have captured the imaginations of people from all walks of life, including Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who had a great interest in psychic research and made many visits to Beaulieu in search of the unexplainable.
To this day, both staff and visitors to Beaulieu report glimpsing ghosts of the Abbey’s former inhabitants, as well as sounds and smells from eras past.
Now, the Hampshire Ghost Club are inviting members of the public to join them on a ghost hunt, investigating some of the most haunted areas of Beaulieu’s ancient Abbey.
The paranormal sessions will be taking place on two nights around Halloween, beginning at 9pm and continuing through to 1am. Activities will include vigils and investigations, using ghost hunting equipment, ghostly tour of the abbey and some spooky table tilting sessions in the Abbey’s Domus building, which was formerly the Lay Brothers’ Dormitory.
Investigations will also take place in the Abbey ruins, Cloisters & Infirmary. Ticket prices are £50 per person, including hot drink refreshments, and are available to people aged 18+.
Pre-booking for these sessions is essential, and you can reserve your place by telephoning 01590 612888.*
For more information, please visit www.beaulieu.co.uk or telephone 01590 612345.

Fellow Paranormal Investigators,
Could you spend a night in a haunted mansion?
OK, silly question, of course you could....
Well, Farnborough-based charity 'Parity for Disability' is holding a sponsored night in a haunted house event on Saturday 26th February at South Hill Park Mansion in Bracknell.
So if you want to join an organised 'invo' and raise money for charity at the same time then take a look at this link,
http://www.parityfordisability.org. ... %20_2_.pdf
Please note that I am merely spreading the word about this 'cos it's a good cause and I'm not connected with Parity for Disability in any way.
If you'd like to take part please contact them directly. Details are available via the link.
Best Wishes,
Geoff Burt

Over the years its been very rare that I've asked anything of our members however I've been made aware of a charity event which I feel needs your support!

With special guest Dr Ciarán O'Keeffe from Most Haunted!
We've all lost someone we care about, in the last 5 years alone I've personally lost over 5 people I know and love, three of my close family members passed away from some form of cancer. Lets make a difference and lets help raise some funds for worthy cause.
Even if you can't make the event I'm pretty sure you could make a small donation direct to the charity for this event.
And now I'll pass you over to Tim Brown from the Paranormal Investigation Group Sussex otherwise know as the P.I.G.S.
