| Title: Scottish Ghosts | views:22 | I got this book of e-bay so could see what i was buying until I actually bought it and it arrived.
At first when I started to read the book I was really dissapointed as the first chapter deals with fairies, goblins and other creatures from Folklore so was really hopeing that the book would get better...and it did!
After the dull first chapter the book gets into full flow detailing the many hauntings in and around scotland and there are some fantastic stories including a story of two men attatcked by ghostly animals on a hillside in the highlands of scotland.
The book is written from a believers point of view so is not critical of the stories told, although comments are made where a story maybe have a natural explanation somewhere along the line such as stories created by smugglers to keep nosey locals out of certain areas at night.
The books deals with everything from houses to castles to streets and lanes that are still the haunt of ghostly residents.
This is a really good book for the ghost enthusiast but skip the first chapter |

| Title: Scottish Ghosts | views:27 | This was one of the first Scottish Ghost Books I ever got so eagerly sat down to read it and after the first chapter, which is about fairies, goblins and so on I thought "oh my god" as this didn't sound like a book I could get into but thankfully after the finishing of the first, really bad chapter, the book got better.
The book details tons of hauntings in and around scotland and made for a really good read. Some of the stories sound fancifull but some are actually very scarey especially the story involving two young men driving through the Highlands one night when they were attatcked by a herd of Ghostly animal that vanished when they got out there car, only to reappear when they got back in their car. |

| Title: Spirit Orb Phenomena Fact Or Fiction? | views:20 | Book review by Paul Vassallo
Ghosts have always fascinated humans if only because they have offered the possibility of finding out more about life on the other side. Spirit Orbs, though are less known, Anthony Kevan Sercombe’s “Spirit Orb Phenomena: Fact or Fiction?” is a pioneering work in this field and has been rated 93% at www.amazon.com. Put simply, spirit orbs are images of humans which can be captured with camera. The writer takes the trouble of sharing how easily spirit orbs can be easily confused with reflected light on camera and other natural anomalies, however it made clear that spirit orbs images are definitely different to some tricks of the light.
The many illustrations (98 colour photographs) offer, at least interesting if not compelling evidence of this phenomena. Readers will be able to judge for themselves what spirits orbs actually are. The author himself found spirit orbs appeared more as he wrote the book and looking at the illustrations one is struck by sheer personality which comes through in certain images. Perhaps the most appealing fact about this phenomena is that all it takes is a digital camera for anyone to possibly capture such intriguing images.
Anthony Kevan Sercombe’s book offers a fascinating introduction and explanations to a little known topic. Not only that, but readers will find it also provides a doorway into the mysterious world of the spiritual afterlife.
The book is available from www.booksurge.com or www.amazon.com.
