Here you will find research that was done on digital camera's to find which digicam was the best for paranormal investigating:
Type of camera mega pixels rating 1-10 Konica digital revio 1.3mp 3
Fuji film A202 2.0mp 8
Fuji film A201 2.0mp 9
Olympus c-100 1.3mp 9
Olympus D-380 2.0mp 7
Samsung Digimax340 3.2 7
Sony Cubershot U 2.2mp 9
Cannon Ixus v3 3.2mp 10
Fuji 204 2.0mp 8
Fuji 303 3.0 8
Conclusion: It would seem looking at the results that most digital camera's are good for paranormal investigating but anything below 2.0mp are not strong enough so you will more than likely get very faint orbs if any at all.

These are here for you to get just a rough idea on what digital camera seems to work best in the field of the paranormal, whilst researching digital cameras i have found that many people are going (back to basics) so to speak and are now using 35mm more often for investigations and using digital cams for location photos, i too have a 35mm and try to use it incongunction with a digi cam so that you at least have one good photo if not two.
During my research i have also found out about something called raw data files and digi cams with this usually range from 4.5 mega pixel, i do not quite fully understand the purpose of raw data files but what i do know is that it prevents the images from being adjusted when dowloaded them from camera to pc therefore resulting in images being untampered with.
Raw Data Files will be my next technology review and please feel free to email me with any query's regarding camera's and equipment
Recently I have purchased another sound alarm to use on investigations. It is a small door alarm which you can blue tac to the wall next to the door and a string that’s attached to the alarm loops around the handle of the door.
The aim is that when the door opens the string is pulled out of the alarm causing it to sound off and make you aware of entry to the room, it’s a good little device, very handy and can fit in your pocket. I got mine for roughly £3 an absolute bargain.
I would always recommend any sort of alarm that detects movement such as motion detecting alarms or the one mentioned above as you personally can only investigate one location at a time, with the alarms you can monitor certain active locations without even being there.
